Join to apply for the Procurement Category Manager - Professional Services & Contingent Labour role at Sharp & Carter Are you an experienced Procurement Category Manager looking to take ownership of high-value, business-critical categories? We’re searching for a strategic, relationship-driven professional to lead our Professional Services and Contingent Labour categories, driving commercial value, supplier performance, and best-practice sourcing across the organisation. About the Role In this role, you’ll lead end-to-end category management, develop long-term sourcing strategies, and partner closely with senior stakeholders to ensure procurement outcomes align with business priorities. You’ll own key supplier relationships, optimise spend, and deliver innovative solutions across a diverse portfolio including consulting, legal, finance, HR, labour hire, and contracted workforce solutions. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute category strategies for Professional Services and Contingent Labour. Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, tendering, negotiation, and contract management. Build strong internal stakeholder relationships to influence and guide procurement decisions. Manage and review supplier performance, ensuring high service standards and continuous improvement. Identify opportunities to reduce cost, mitigate risk, and enhance value across the categories. Ensure compliance with procurement policies, frameworks, and governance requirements. About You Proven experience as a Category Manager or Senior Procurement Specialist. Strong background managing Professional Services and/or Contingent Labour categories. Exceptional stakeholder management and business partnering abilities. Confident negotiator with sound commercial acumen and analytical skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple priorities.
