Our Opportunity Veris have a Principal Planner opportunity available within our Consulting & Advisory team. This is a Mackay-based leadership opportunity with national impact—ideal for a strategic thinker ready to redefine how data and digital can unlock value. About You Expertise in providing broad planning professional services across multiple industry sectors. Minimum 6 years’ experience in a consulting/advisory role. Lead the transformation of planning approvals using cutting-edge digital, spatial, and data tools, working with our specialists and partners, to streamline and strengthen project pathways across Australia. Play a key role in major projects —shaping how approvals are delivered at scale. Pioneer a new model of consulting, integrating digital workflows, visualisation, and real-time data to improve decision-making, compliance, and transparency. Build and mentor a high-performing digital-first team, leaving a lasting legacy in how planning services are delivered nationally. Client first mindset – using established market presence to shape and drive delivery in Queensland. Experienced in and required to operate independently, lead projects, interface with clients, deliver excellence, help procure and develop emerging professionals.
