About the Role In this role you will work as a Community Support Worker responding to a flexible roster supporting clients across Darebin with Home Support Services. You will provide support with Domestic Assistance (vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, changing bed linen), Personal Care (showering, dressing, grooming), Shopping Support all whilst maintaining client independence and safety. You will also have ongoing opportunities to provide administration support and backfill service delivery teams as required. On these occasions a position description will be provided. Skills & Experience Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent (desirable) Evidence of capacity to develop increased administration skills Experience working with computer programs and client data bases desirable but not essential Excellent customer service and communication skills both verbal and written Victorian Drivers licence Own vehicle for work use (comprehensively insured) Current Level 2 First Aid/CPR training certificate Current employee Working with Children Card Culture As a progressive leader in Local Government, Darebin City Council is passionate about social inclusion, sustainability, engagement and service excellence.
