Business Development Representative / Outbound BDR, APAC Market - Sydney Aircall is an AI‑powered customer communications platform used by 22,000+ companies worldwide to drive revenue, faster resolutions, and scale. By combining voice, SMS, WhatsApp, and AI into one seamless workspace, we help customer‑facing teams work smarter, not harder. We are looking for a motivated Business Development Representative to join our ANZ sales team. You will prospect, qualify, and build relationships with potential customers, ultimately advancing them through the sales pipeline. Responsibilities Uncover and create well-qualified new opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, networking, and utilizing our proven process and extensive Salesforce database. Create and execute outbound campaigns (emails, calls) to book demos/meetings with relevant leads. Research and prospect ideal customers and gather key lead information through open‑ended questions and thoughtful conversations. Understand the business, needs, and buying cycle of the leads, building and nurturing preliminary relationships. Work closely with Account Executives and the rest of the sales team to accelerate the sales cycle. Represent Aircall with integrity and professionalism at all times while highlighting Aircall’s value proposition and key selling points to raise interest. Use Salesforce and other best‑practice tools for daily activity and process. Key Qualifications 1 year or more experience in outbound sales. Experience within tech or a SaaS start/scale‑up environment is highly regarded. Team spirit mindset with the desire to continuously grow and learn; aim to be #1 while supporting teammates. Exceptional attention to detail, organisational skills, and time‑management abilities. Clear and direct communicator, unafraid to ask questions and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to be autonomous, take initiative, and truly own your own success. Hard‑working, resourceful, and confident; not afraid of a challenge. Enthusiastic and positive attitude.
