Overview The Central Finance Integrated Controls and Monitoring Team supports Central Finance and wider Finance and Tax Division in managing their Financial and Regulatory Reporting Risk and Control Frameworks through governance and monitoring, providing risk advisory support, performing assurance reviews, attestation activities, and assessing adequacy of risk and policy training. Role Reporting to the Head of Integrated Controls & Monitoring in Finance, you will lead the controls uplift agenda within Central Finance, focusing on non-financial risk monitoring and governance. Your responsibilities will include establishing effective Finance Risk Governance Forums, monitoring Key Risk Indicators, supporting control owners with implementing policies and standards, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and leading process and control deep-dive reviews. You will also assess issues for broader finance teams, collaborate with Business Unit Integrated Controls & Monitoring Teams, and implement control improvement projects, such as optimizing the Financial Reporting Value Chain. This role offers high-profile exposure to senior leaders at Macquarie and the opportunity to provide valuable insights to Central Finance stakeholders while working closely with key teams across the organization. What you offer You have a Chartered accountant background with 7+ years experience in a Financial Institution Thorough understanding of activities within a Finance function in a Financial Institution (financial reporting and regulatory reporting) You have experience and/or exposure of Risk and Control Advisory and Governance roles You are a strong communicator with solid stakeholder management and influencing skills, especially with senior stakeholders You are confident with presenting, memo and report writing to senior audiences We love hearing from anyone inspired to build a better future with us.
