Home Care Worker Opportunities in the Northern Beaches Join Silverchain Group as a Home Care Worker in the Northern Beaches region. We are looking for a Cert III qualified person with at least 6 months experience in a similar role to support clients across Manly, Newport, Avalon, Forestville, Seaforth and other areas. What’s On Offer Guaranteed hours and shifts in the Northern Beaches area Above Award rate $36.76 per hour + Super + paid KM's Employee benefits program + salary packaging up to $18,550 tax free each year Paid CPR and First Aid courses Minimal domestic assistance work – focus on high-impact care work delivering life-changing outcomes Collaborate with Case Managers, Therapy providers and Nurses to assist clients in achieving rehabilitation goals Opportunity to advance skills and experience beyond typical Level 3 work What We’re Looking For Enjoy variety in their day Passionate about providing excellent service Build positive relationships with clients and families Remain calm and can shake off small setbacks Work independently and find solutions to everyday problems In Addition, You Will Need Open Australian Driver’s Licence & own insured, roadworthy vehicle Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support in Ageing Experience of 6 months or more in a similar role with personal care, manual handling, hoist training and medications Proof of vaccination against Diptheria, Tetanus, Pertussis, Hep B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Influenza, Covid 19 The Role Provide personal care services such as getting clients out of bed, showered and dressed Assist clients to take medications and mobility and therapy goals Provide complex care for clients with dementia or high care needs Provide social and emotional support Transport clients to lifestyle activities or appointments Support family carers to have breaks or opportunities for other things General housekeeping – bedding, cleaning, laundry, meal preparation Why choose Silverchain Silverchain is one of the few Australian home care providers accredited in national health and aged care standards.
