About the Role As a Group Fitness Instructor at AFAC, you’ll deliver uplifting, motivating, and safe group fitness experiences that help our community achieve their health and wellbeing goals. This role is all about impact: You’ll be the spark that motivates someone through their hardest reps. You’ll help members feel included, supported, and part of something special. You’ll bring passion to every class and contribute to the vibrant culture that sets AFAC apart. A day in the role may include: Designing engaging, balanced workout routines tailored to a range of fitness levels. Leading classes with clarity, motivation, and energy. Creating an inclusive and supportive group environment. Monitoring safety and responding confidently in emergencies. Being a champion for health, fitness, and community engagement. About You You’re someone who brings both expertise and heart into every class. You’re someone who: Loves motivating and uplifting people. Finds meaning in helping others achieve their goals. Creates inclusive, welcoming environments. Can adapt routines to suit diverse abilities and fitness levels. You bring: Experience delivering engaging group fitness classes. The ability to motivate, inspire, and provide clear, safe instruction. Strong awareness of safety, technique, and class management. The confidence to create a positive, energetic experience for all participants. You’ll need: Current qualifications aligned to the classes you deliver (e.g. ABT, Aqua, BodyCombat, RPM, Yoga, Pilates, Zumba, Clubbercise, etc.). Current First Aid Certificate.
