About the Role As the Casual Sportsground Administrator / Technical Officer, you will: Coordinate the booking, allocation, and hire of Council’s sportsgrounds, courts, and outdoor facilities. Act as the first point of contact for enquiries, providing excellent customer service to the community and user groups. Support Recreation Assets staff with technical assistance and facility preparation for community sport activities. Identify and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction. Balance the needs of diverse user groups while ensuring sustainable management and maintenance of Council’s open spaces. What You’ll Bring: Relevant tertiary qualifications or significant experience in sport management, community development, or a related field. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on community and sporting consultation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience using booking systems (e.g., Zipporah, Links, Bookable). Ability to manage priorities, work independently, and contribute effectively as a proactive team member. Awareness and commitment to WHS and EEO principles, including attending relevant training.
