Senior Financial Accountant, Marketplace

Managing the global financial accounting from income statement and balance sheet accounts and related processes such as revenue, OPEX, fixed assets, prepayments, inventory, and intercompany transfers.Managing end-to-end inventory accounting process in collaboration with inventory warehouse managersActing as the go to finance business partner to the Marketplace teamProcessing month-end journals and assisting with month-end close and reporting.Working with external tax advisors especially in regard to sales taxes and import/export tariffsIdentifying opportunities for process improvement, standardization and/or automationAd-hoc involvement in both Marketplace and wider finance team projects including but not limited to system migration into the group ERP.Preparation of quarterly stock provision, obsolete stock review and relevant group inventory/cost reporting.What do I need?
CA/CPA qualified Accountant2+ years work experience in commercial business with FMCG experience essential and e-commerce highly regardedAttention to detail with an ability to multitask and prioritise tasksAdvanced Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc) skillsProactive and enthusiastic attitude with a focus on making things betterStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsExperience with Netsuite, Tableau and Avalara (desirable not essential)More than a Job
