About the Opportunity A Medical Radiation Scientist at this level is expected to assume a responsible role in performing all aspects of radiographic imaging. This position plays a key role encompassing the optimal service provision of high quality imaging in general and emergency trauma radiography. Responsibilities Deliver high quality imaging in general and emergency trauma radiography, intra-operative image intensification, mobile radiography, dental and BMD imaging, digital screening, CT, DSA and other services in a PACS environment. Participate in the development and upgrading of clinical protocols and techniques. Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in complex clinical procedures. Communicate and demonstrate commitment to team building, quality assurance and high standards of patient care. About You We are looking for someone who has: Qualifications, licensure and registration with appropriate authorities including: Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science (Radiation Science) or Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Radiation Sciences) or qualifications deemed equivalent by CCLHD. A high level of communication and interpersonal skills. A high level of competency and consistently high standard of clinical practice and decision making. Proven ability to work in a multidisciplinary team. A good level of computer literacy, including familiarity with RIS/PACS systems.
