Strategy & Ops Senior Associate

About the role We’re looking for a killer Strategy & Operations Senior Associate to connect the dots across finance, data, CX, and operations — making the whole business more efficient, more informed, and more scalable. You’ll report to the CEO and work closely with the General Manager and Marketing Director. This role sits at the centre of everything and helps shape how we scale. Responsibilities Clean up and streamline reporting, finance processes, and data flows Build dashboards and insights that drive decisions (CAC, LTV, churn, ops performance) Lead cross‑team projects to remove bottlenecks and improve reliability Standardise workflows and introduce automation where it matters Carry out analysis and first‑principled thinking to progress key initiatives important to Funky Lead high‑value strategic projects end‑to‑end across all areas of the business Work closely with the dev team to project‑manage new feature rollouts improving CX Qualifications Enjoy solving ambiguous, cross‑functional problems Bring strong analytical and financial instincts Can break complexity into clear, structured steps Are just as comfortable executing as you are planning Take full ownership of projects end‑to‑end Build clarity where none exists and work well with imperfect data Communicate simply, clearly, and with good judgement Like wearing multiple hats and operating without rigid hierarchy What to expect In‑office (Woolloongabba), occasional warehouse visits (Rocklea) Occasional visits to NSW & VIC Must be based in Brisbane or willing to relocate Why Funky Food Mission‑driven work with massive real world impact A small, sharp leadership team, with a culture you can help shape Huge ownership and variety — every week looks different and great for career development You’ll shape a whole function from the ground up Flexible, fast‑paced, and truly meaningful work Compensation $160,000 – $180,000 + super ESOP packages negotiable for the right candidate, discussion starts after a 6‑month probation period Apply through LinkedIn. #J-18808-Ljbffr
