Digital and Virtual Learning is an innovative and future-focussed portfolio, with the Directorproviding strategic leadership, governance and oversight to each of the following project areas:Queensland Virtual AcademyDigital learningThe Department of Education are dedicated to building an inclusive and diverse workforce that reflects the community and schools we support by treating everyone with respect and dignity. This includes making reasonable adjustments to support applicants at all stages of the process and employee lifecycle.About the RoleThe successful candidate will lead the ongoing development of key strategies related to Digital and Virtual Learning, and lead the governance and quality assurance of all of activities within Digital and Virtual Learning to support the delivery of future focussed learning for students.The role requires a high degree of leadership, management and accountability for project governance, and communication, and presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to equity and excellence through the delivery of digital and virtual learning projects.A high degree of strategic thinking, excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, and the ability to quality assure correspondence, resources, and project documentation.
