There will be plenty of room to grow within the business as we have an ambitious future ahead of us with a third store opening soon. About the Business Name: Self Raised- Bread Shoppe. A 70s-80s inspired continental Bakery and pastry shop focused on high level bread, pastry, Pies & Sandwiches. Trading Hours: Tues - Sat 7am-2pm. Sun: 8am-2pm (Monday Closed) The Role: overnight shifts – roughly 8pm-3am Baking and production of high quality Pastries & Cakes. Oversee the daily operations within the pastry section. Working closely with the Head Pastry Chef and the team to produce consistent high quality products Technical knowledge and experience in using the specific equipment for a bakery Creative Freedom (we love new ideas) and are absolutely passionate about everything we do. Daily stock management, stock rotation and temperature management. Ideal Candidate: 2 or more years experience as pastry chef. Good team player Strong work ethic and a positive "can do" attitude. Passionate & Love for baking and food. Demonstrated experience in high volume, fast-paced bakery environment.
