Do you meet the criteria for a CNC1 and want to pick up shifts as a casual - you can work as much or as little as you like Responsibilities You Will Be Closely Involved With The Assessment And Management Of Persons Presenting To The Prince Of Wales Hospital Emergency Department. Selection Criteria Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) and a minimum of 5 years post‑registration experience in a mental health specialty, with postgraduate nursing qualifications relevant to the field in which he/she is appointed, or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate by the public hospital or public health organisation. Demonstrated high level interpersonal and communication skills including advocacy and negotiation and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Demonstrated knowledge and ability to mentor and coach nursing staff to enhance professional development. Demonstrated experience in leading and initiating activities to improve patient safety outcomes. Demonstrated effective clinical leadership skills including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving and clinical decision making skills. Demonstrates relevant experience in facilitating the transition and support of learners at all levels in the workplace and evaluation of clinical education programs. Demonstrated skills in computer use and applications such as Windows, word processing and database use.
