Site Supervisor – Residential Extensions, Renovations & New Builds Magna Building Group is a fast growing residential building company delivering high-quality renovations, extensions, granny flats, and takeover/rectification of unfinished projects across Perth. We pride ourselves on technical excellence, transparency, and strong client relationships. We are seeking a confident, organised and technically-minded Site Supervisor who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of multiple sites, and isn’t afraid to hold trades accountable (firm, but always fair). About the Role Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will oversee and coordinate construction activities on multiple active sites, including: This role involves on-site supervision, quality control, compliance checks, and detailed communication , ensuring our projects are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard. Flexible work locations throughout the week — office, site, and/or direct-to-site starts from home. Core hours Monday–Friday (7am–3pm). Key Responsibilities Supervise daily trade activity and enforce performance expectations Coordinate project schedules, deliveries and on-site logistics Maintain compliance with NCC and WA building standards Be able to read, understand and analyse project drawings and identify construction issues and propose practical solutions Conduct progressive QA inspections and manage defect rectifications Ensure high-level site presentation and safety compliance Maintain detailed site documentation and updates to trades on variations and changes Communicate clearly with trades, suppliers, and the project manager What We’re Looking For Residential construction supervisory experience — ideally renovations/extensions Confident addressing trades, enforcing programme and quality Strong eye for detail and pride in providing high-quality workmanship Good technical knowledge and ability to interpret drawings/engineering Proactive problem solver, able to think outside the box Organised, punctual and reliable — excellent time management Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work autonomously and as part of a small team Qualifications / Requirements 3–5+ years WA residential construction experience White Card & current WA Driver Licence Police Clearance (or ability to obtain) Proficiency with site reporting software and basic computer skills (we use Apple Mac, so need to be familiar with Apple Mac laptops or computers) Preferred but not essential: Registered Building Practitioner or Residential Building Inspector Extensive experience as a Carpenter.
