Job Title: Social Worker - MASH Team Location: Knowsley Pay Rate: £ per hour Job Description Liquid Personnel is seeking an experienced and proactive Social Worker to join their client’s Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team at Knowsley. This is a key frontline role where you will be responsible for making informed decisions to safeguard children at risk, working closely with partner agencies in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Conduct initial assessments of safeguarding referrals received from professionals and the public. Liaise with partner agencies (e.g., police, health, education) to gather relevant information for decision-making. Analyze risk and protective factors to determine the appropriate level of intervention. Make threshold decisions in line with local safeguarding procedures and statutory guidance. Provide clear, evidence-based recommendations for next steps, including Early Help, Child in Need, or Child Protection pathways. Maintain accurate and timely case records using case management systems. Participate in multi-agency strategy discussions and planning meetings. Ensure all actions comply with safeguarding legislation, policies, and best practices. Escalate complex or high-risk cases to senior practitioners or managers as appropriate. Qualifications & Experience Social Work England registration. Right to work in the UK. Full UK driving licence. Degree in Social Work or equivalent.
