Project Administrator - Residential Construction Bray Constructions is a family‑owned residential building company based in Melbourne's Bayside, specialising in high‑end extensions, major renovations, and architecturally designed new homes. We are seeking a highly organised and detail‑driven Project Administrator who prides themselves on accuracy, communication excellence, and the ability to maintain administrative control across multiple residential projects. About the Role Reporting to the Project Manager, this primarily office‑based role involves supporting the successful delivery of residential construction projects from post‑contract through to completion. You’ll manage procurement, documentation, financial tracking, and workflow communication ensuring projects remain aligned with schedule, budget, and operational standards. As an integral link between the office and onsite teams, you will contribute to seamless project coordination while helping maintain the quality and professionalism Bray Constructions is known for. Key Responsibilities Administer contracts, variations, documentation, and procurement across assigned projects Prepare and issue supplier/subcontractor purchase and work orders Maintain accurate cost tracking, budgets, and registers Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, councils and consultants to obtain required documents, approvals and information Maintain Databuild and internal project systems to ensure accurate and current records Assist with the preparation of reports, minutes and progress documentation Support the creation and refinement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Ensure compliance with company and OH&S documentation requirements Help ensure a smooth client experience and positive communication throughout the project lifecycle What You Bring Experience in residential construction administration or contract management Strong numerical skills with meticulous attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and initiative Confidence coordinating documentation and procurement workflows A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset and commitment to teamwork Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Databuild (preferred but not essential) Who You Are You are someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, who cares deeply about getting the details right, and who brings a professional, respectful and adaptable approach to every interaction.
