About the role Maintain and develop all Merchandising and Instore Concepts for the Chemist Warehouse Retail Group to drive sales. Report directly to the Merchandising & Instore Concepts Team Leader and ensure all responsibilities are completed successfully and aligned with business requirements. Be comfortable with: Combining sales analysis and creativity to develop merchandising concepts aligned with company strategies. Building strong, reliable relationships that support and enhance the company's reputation. Working and liaising with people from diverse multicultural backgrounds. Role Responsibilities Merchandising and Instore Concepts Overhauls Working with the Merchandising & Instore Concepts Team Leader to develop & implement new strategies with merchandising concepts and supplier merchandiser support to grow sales. Document all merchandising changes & projects so that we can track and analyze their sales impact. Monitor Store POS Compliance and respond to stores emails as required. Test all point-of-sale (POS) materials for accuracy, quality, and functionality prior to in-store rollout. Communicate all merchandising updates, POS artwork rollouts, and display changes to stores in a timely, clear, and actionable manner to ensure smooth execution across all stores. Maintain professional and consistent communication with buyers and suppliers to provide updates on merchandising progress, timelines, and any changes to in store plans. Evaluate performance data and customer insights to identify underperforming areas and recommend merchandising improvements. Conduct post-implementation reviews and store audits to assess the effectiveness of projects, gather feedback, and apply learnings to future projects. Merchandising and Instore Concepts Updates Coordinate the design, development, and distribution of point-of-sale (POS) artwork to ensure brand consistency across all store locations. Update and maintain visual merchandising guidelines related to POS displays and fixture placement to align with current POS compliance. Provide ongoing support and clear instructions to merchandisers and support teams for effective execution of POS materials and planogram update assistance. Monitor the effectiveness of POS executions through store visits, feedback collection, and visual audits, recommending improvements where necessary. Qualifications and experience At least 2 years' experience in retail merchandising, in-store concepts, or visual merchandising roles. Experience in collaborating with marketing, operations, and buying teams to align in-store execution with brand and promotional goals. Strong IT Skills, including advanced Microsoft Excel Skills and knowledge of Microsoft Access as well as the ability to pick up new programs quickly. Benefits Discounts across all our brands.
