Our Defence client is currently looking for a Project Support Officer to join their team on a Long engagement. Australian Citizens with a Negative Vetting 1 clearance is highly regarded for this role. This is your chance to make a difference in this 12 Month Contract with a potential for extension options. This is a unique opportunity to support a strategic infrastructure initiative to implement secure network capability to support large scale migration of workloads and data from on prem to multi cloud environments. You will provide coordination, governance, and administrative support to ensure successful deliver of Defence's Tactical Connectivity capability. As the PSO within the High-Speed Tactical Cloud Connect Project, you will maintain project momentum, support stakeholder engagement, and ensuring compliance with Defence processes for schedule, risk and change management. Responsibilities Project Coordination Support planning workshops, governance forums, and stakeholder meetings (Governance forums) Manage project action logs, and decision registers Documentation & Reporting Prepare and update project artefacts (PMP, schedules, risk registers, change logs) Assist in drafting reports for governance bodies and senior leadership Working with scheduler to ensure reports accurate to Defence standards Change & Risk Management Track change requests and ensure compliance with SIAM processes (CAB's) Monitor risk treatments and elevate issues as required Stakeholder Engagement Coordinate communications between Defence and the partners Support procurement tracking and hardware readiness reporting Compliance & Governance Ensure adherence to Defence policies, security requirements, and project standards Skills required for this role include: Skills Experience in complex ICT Infrastructure or transformation programs. Experience with SIAM change control. Proven experience in Agile and/or waterfall delivery methodologies. Proven proficiency in Service Now EP3M project portal. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage dependencies across multiple work streams. Familiarity with Defence or Federal Government environments is highly desired but not mandatory.
