The opportunity We are seeking a passionate and experiencedDiversity and Inclusion Specialist to lead organisation-wideinitiatives that foster respect, belonging, and cultural safety atWarrigal. In this pivotal role, you will design and deliver keyframeworks including our Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan,Safeguarding Framework, and Reconciliation Action Plan, ensuringthey drive meaningful change across our workforce and services.Working closely with internal committees, senior leaders, andexternal partners, you will champion inclusion, reconciliation, andsafeguarding practices that strengthen our commitment to humanrights and create an environment where every person feels valued,respected, and connected. What You’ll Bring Essential: Demonstrated experience in inclusion and diversity,safeguarding, or reconciliation program delivery within acomplex organisation. Ability to engage with diverse communities, includingAboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, LGBTIQA+communities, and culturally and linguistically diversegroups. Strong facilitation, communication, and influencing skillsacross all organisational levels. Understanding of human rights, cultural safety, andtrauma-informed practice principles. Proven leadership in embedding frameworks and drivingcultural change. Tertiary qualifications in Social Sciences, Human Services,Community Development, or related field. Experience in the aged care, health, or community servicessectors. Membership or active involvement with recognised inclusionor reconciliation bodies. Experience in data reporting and evaluation of social orcultural programs. What we Offer | Recognising your value Part Time Position of 24 Hours per week Attractive base salary of $131,400 per annum (pro rata for24 hours per week, based on experience) plus superannuation andsalary packaging benefits.
