Customer Service Officer – Macquarie University, Chatswood and Dee Why Permanent full‑time role working a 9‑day fortnight (8:30 am – 5:30 pm, 40‑minute lunch). Based on‑site at our Macquarie University, Chatswood and Dee Why Hearing Centres. Overview Hearing Australia is a trusted leader in hearing health, supporting Australians of all backgrounds, including children, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and multicultural communities. Key Responsibilities Greet clients and handle counter and telephone enquiries. Provide reception and general administration, including booking appointments, processing claims, data entry and monthly reports. Liaise with clients of diverse ages and needs, including those with complex requirements and multicultural backgrounds. Perform minor hearing‑aid repairs and troubleshooting. Assist clinicians by identifying client needs, offering professional advice and demonstrating hearing‑aid use. What You’ll Bring Proactive problem‑solver with ownership of tasks. Intermediate to advanced computer literacy and familiarity with mobile technology (iOS and Android). Commitment to a purpose‑driven organisation that makes a difference to clients and their families.
