Job Description Partner with managers and teams to embed safety into everyday operations. Lead safety walks, inspections, and risk assessments to spot hazards early and prevent incidents. Review SWMS, oversee work permits, and ensure contractors meet safety standards. Deliver and support training programs such as manual handling and confined space awareness. Investigate incidents, manage injury and return-to-work processes, and drive preventative actions. Keep accurate, confidential records of hazards, incidents, audits, health monitoring, and compliance activities. Champion a proactive safety culture, driving continuous improvement in WHS and psychosocial risk management. Ensure compliance with Company policies, procedures, and ISO standards (ISO-14001, ISO-9001, ISO-45001). Support site contractor management and contribute to WHS improvement projects. Provide support to the National HSE Manager on broader initiatives when required. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the Australian market. Certificate IV in Health and Safety (minimum). Solid knowledge of WHS legislation, policies, and best practices. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels. Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise, plan, and deliver projects to tight deadlines. Resilient and adaptable, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving. Confident user of Microsoft Office 365. Current Australian driver’s licence.
