Aqwest is seeking a HSE Officer to contribute to the development, maintenance and successful implementation of Aqwest’s Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) management systems in relation to operational and capital works. The role requires the HSE Officer to develop, support and ensure the consistent implementation of operation safety management plans, environmental management plans and associated systems, processes and procedures. Applicants will have experience in the development and implementation of Work Health and Safety (WHS) management systems and have detailed knowledge of WHS legislation and regulations. A strong understanding of risk management in an operational environment, sound communication skills (both written and verbal) and analytical and problem-solving skills are important for this role.
