Organise Activities in a Retirement Village Make a Difference in the Lives of Older People Are you passionate about connecting with others and bringing joy to your community? We’re looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to join our team and support older residents living in an independent retirement village. What will you do? As a Village Volunteer, you’ll help create a welcoming and engaging environment by assisting with activities such as: Craft sessions and creative projects Games and social activities Basic IT support for residents Music and sing‑alongs Gentle exercise programs Group discussions and conversation circles Why volunteer with us? Make a positive impact on the wellbeing of older people Share your skills and learn new ones Be part of a supportive and caring community What we’re looking for: A warm, approachable attitude Good communication skills Reliability and willingness to help with a variety of activities Time commitment: flexible, work with you to find a schedule that suits you Additional information We offer opportunities in skill and knowledge development, as well as ongoing support and mentoring. Good communication skills and the ability to work independently are a must. Having a driver’s licence/access to own vehicle is highly desired but not essential.
