Shopify Solution Architect & Shopify Technical Lead – Permanent Location: Australia (Remote / Hybrid) Start Date: ASAP (Realistically Jan/Feb) We are seeking two talented eCommerce specialists to join a leading client: a Shopify Solution Architect and a Shopify Technical Lead . These are full-time, permanent roles, offering the chance to work on complex, enterprise-level Shopify builds, drive innovation, and build digital capability across the organisation. Shopify Solution Architect This senior role focuses on end-to-end technical solutioning of complex Shopify projects. You will partner with clients, run discovery workshops, define technical requirements, shape solution architectures, and guide developers and functional consultants through delivery. Key Responsibilities Lead technical solutioning across Shopify builds from discovery to go-live Run workshops and define semi-technical & technical requirements Shape robust solution architectures and guide developers/consultants Support Integration Testing, UAT, and aspects of go-live and transition planning Act as a senior, consultative, client-facing technical point of contact Required Skills & Experience Deep hands-on Shopify experience (Plus, headless, APIs) Strong knowledge of Shopify apps and integration ecosystem Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions Confidence in pre-sales and early solution shaping Ability to size and estimate technical tasks Strong consultative and client-facing skills Work Arrangement Fully remote with occasional on-site presence Shopify Technical Lead This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader who can guide and mentor developers while contributing to Shopify builds. You’ll oversee estimates, run code reviews, validate solutions, and ensure high‑quality delivery. Key Responsibilities Lead a team of developers across Shopify projects Perform and review code, validate solution approaches, and ensure technical quality Challenge and refine solution designs, estimates, and implementation plans Improve deployment pipelines and DevOps processes Step in hands‑on as required while providing guidance and oversight Required Skills & Experience Strong Shopify development experience (Liquid, Checkout/Customer Account extensions, Admin extensions, APIs; Hydrogen/React advantageous) Experience leading developers and maintaining high technical standards Strong PR review and code‑quality oversight Ability to challenge and validate solutions, estimates, and implementation plans Experience improving deployment pipelines and DevOps processes Work Arrangement Hybrid – combination of office and remote work To Apply If you’re a Shopify expert ready to make an impact, apply today Contact #J-18808-Ljbffr
