About the role Reporting to the National HR Manager, you will be based out of Laverton and part of the State Lead Team in Victoria and South Australia. The HR Business Partner is a hands‑on role that provides full employee life cycle Human Resources support to the Victorian and South Australian Operations of the InfraBuild Recycling business. The role is focused on the provision of proactive HR generalist advice and guidance to managers, providing appropriate and timely ER / IR support and equipping leaders with the right skills, tools and information to effectively manage their workforce. Key Responsibilities Provide guidance, support, and resolution strategies on all disciplinary, employment relationship, and industrial relationship matters Maintain effective working relationships with relevant union and/or industry representatives Provide advice and support to both employees and leadership teams Drive the development and implementation of people change initiatives, including embedding change management and helping leaders manage the impact of change Manage multiple people priorities with a focus on results‑driven outcomes Support key strategic HR initiatives as well as specialist HR programs across the business Qualifications A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or an associated discipline Experience in a similar level influencing role, managing complex stakeholders Manufacturing or similar heavy‑industry exposure would be advantageous Demonstrated experience working with ER and IR issues, including negotiating EBA’s Robust knowledge and working experience with Australian employment law Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to manage competing priorities Proven HR experience in a unionised environment Key Benefits Generous parental leave: 20 weeks paid Primary Carer Leave and 3 weeks paid Partner Leave for those who have worked at the business for at least 12 months.
