WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Public Relations Specialist with a minimum of 5 years' experience in the B2C tech sector. The ideal candidate is a proactive, hands-on professional with a robust network of media contacts and a proven track record in executing international PR campaigns. You should excel at identifying and engaging target audiences to expand our user base and solidify our brand as the premier choice for preserving memories through photo books.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Develop and Implement PR Strategies: Craft comprehensive PR plans that align with our business objectives, focusing on user acquisition and brand positioning.
  • Media Relations: Leverage your existing media relationships in DACH and gain new ones to secure coverage in key outlets to grow our user base but also position us as the go to place to print memories and enhancing our brand visibility.
  • International Campaign Management: Find ways to do PR also in other Key Markets next to DACH, especially FR, UK, USA, IT and PL
  • Audience Engagement: identify our target audience, what matters to them in terms of news and emotions and how to reach them, by develop a successful PR concept.
  • Brand Storytelling: Create compelling narratives that position us as the leading brand for photo book creation and that we are the easiest and fastest solution.
  • Performance Measurement: Establish KPIs and utilize analytics to assess the impact of PR activities, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Crises Management: Have concepts ready in the drawer to react quickly. 
  • Consult C-Level and HR in other sorts of communication for internal or investor relationships.
YOUR BAG OF TRICKS

  • Media Outreach: Proficiency in pitching stories and securing placements in top-tier media outlets to the right people at the right time. You also have a database or know where to find databases to find the right journalists.
  • Content Creation: Ability to produce engaging press releases, articles, and other PR materials.
  • Event Coordination: Experience in organizing press conferences, product launches, and other PR events.
  • Crisis Management: Skilled in handling PR crises with tact and efficiency.
  • Digital Savvy: Familiarity with social media platforms and digital PR tactics to amplify reach.
  • Tools: You know what tools you need to work efficiently and monitore and analyze success.
  • KPIs & Measurement: You know what KPIs are important and setup a system there that you always keep a close look at.
  • You have a good sense where and how to get the information you need.
  • You are fluent in English and German

  • Experienced Professional: Over a decade in PR roles within the B2C tech industry.
  • Networked: Possess a strong network of media contacts across various regions.
  • Strategic Thinker: Capable of developing and executing PR strategies that drive business results.
  • Analytical: Data-driven with the ability to interpret metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Communicator: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
NICE TO HAVE

  • Multilingual Abilities: Proficiency in multiple languages to facilitate international PR efforts.
  • Industry Recognition: Previous awards or accolades in PR excellence.
  • Advanced Education: Master's degree in Public Relations, Communications, or a related field.
  • Certifications: Accreditation from recognized PR institutions.
  • Creative Flair: Demonstrated ability to craft innovative PR campaigns that capture audience interest.
