- Technical responsibility for the development of innovative high-end electric motors (ASM, PMS)
- Interface to inverter development and optimization of the overall system electric motor, inverter and control software
- Coordination of an interdisciplinary and international team of specialists
- Design, simulation, production and testing of electric motors with high speeds and power density
- Analytical methods and FEM calculation, multiphysics, electromagnetics, thermics, structural dynamics, mechanics (shaft dynamics, bearing design), electrical co-simulation (inverters, modulation methods, control)
- Development and implementation of innovative manufacturing processes for electrical machines and support for preliminary manufacturing development
- Analysis of global trends and benchmarking
- Completed education (University or University of Applied Sciences, University of Technology or comparable) with a focus on electrical engineering, mechatronics, physics, power electronics or a related field
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the field of design and simulation of electrical drives and electrical drive technology
- Expert knowledge in the design of electrical machines
- Expert knowledge in the field of electric motor and inverter interaction (control and modulation methods)
- Very good knowledge of English, basic knowledge of German desirable
- Willingness to travel 10 percent of the time throughout Europe
