VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Embassy and Permanent Mission of the United Republic of Tanzania in Vienna seek to appoint a qualified individual with the required work experience for the following full-time position: Interpreter and Liaison Officer.

Minimum Qualifications: A minimum qualification of an Undergraduate Degree.

Competencies/skills: A minimum of three years experience as an interpreter/translator, preferably with an Embassy/International organisation. Knowledge of the government system, procedures and practices;

Proficiency in English and German language, good knowledge of general office administration, research methodology skills, communications and organizational skills.

Customer services, Organising and planning skills, Translation and interpretation skills, computer skills, including social media.

Knowledge of Kiswahili language is an added advantage.
