About This Role

Commercially and strategically focused on Country performance and opportunities, the Country Finance Lead (CFL), as a member of the Local Management team, drives the collaboration across the Functions to ensure appropriate financial stewardship of the business and is responsible for managing, controlling, and reporting for the Platform and Scoober entities. 

You will provide day-to-day support to the Country Manager and Local Leadership team and manage the input from the Regional Financial Department. You translate them into local target-setting process, ensuring that budgets, forecasts, and any other local targets are understood and reflected in the forecasting system, and reported back to Group in a timely manner. 

These are some of the key ingredients of the role:
  • Business Partnering & FP&A:
  • Establish strong stakeholder connections and support decision-making with data-driven insights.
  • Focus on planning, budgeting, and providing regular performance and financial reports to management.
  • Accounting & Reporting:
  • Oversee local accounting, tax activities, and compliance, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage local statutory accounts and audits, and provide necessary information to Group teams.
  • Risk, Control, & Systems:
  • Manage risk register, support audits, monitor financial risks/opportunities, and develop mitigation plans.
  • Ensure ERP and accounting systems are fit for purpose and properly implemented across territories.

  • Great logical and analytical problem solver, with attention to detail. Able to collect info from several sources and provide executive summaries based on validated figures, reliable outcomes, and accurate predictions. 
  • Delivery-oriented professional, focusing on Risks and Opportunities assessment.
  • Able to set clear goals, devise plans, provide appropriate details, and meet deadlines with strong capacity in planning and prioritizing activities.
