Account Manager - Office Based | Major Retail + Grocery

This fast-growing South Australian food company supplies to retailers, supermarkets, and wholesalers nationwide. With a focus on exceptional products and strong relationships with key stakeholders, the company is led by a leadership team with roughly 30 years of experience in farming, growing, and marketing fresh produce across Australia. Your Role:
You will report to the Director and be the face of the business, managing key relationships with major retailers. With your nurturing personality and proven experience, you’ll ensure customers are satisfied and negotiate impactful deals identifying growth opportunities that drive the company’s success. Regular duties require you to:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with major retail clients
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all key accounts
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with key retailers
  • Work closely with internal teams across Packing, Growing, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Drive business development and identify new growth opportunities
  • Collaborate with the CEO to define and execute account strategies

Other Details
The position is a full-time permanent role, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. The remuneration package is approximately $80K+ - $90K+ depending on skills and experience.

  • Proven experience in managing key accounts across the grocery, retail and food sector.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a focus on nurturing long-lasting relationships.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Results-driven with a knack for identifying new business opportunities and driving growth.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Highly motivated and proactive, ready to make a significant impact on the company’s success.
