Karidis Villages Pty Ltd is a proudly South Australia owned and operated business. Our aim is to create well designed Retirement Villages in great locations that provide the ultimate in independence, combined with the strong bonds of community life.
We currently have approximately 550 independent living homes across 10 sites in South Australia and Victoria. Future growth plans include additional homes at both existing and new sites in South Australia.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, passionate and enthusiastic Village Manager, who has a caring nature and is commercially-astute, to join our team.
As the Village Manager, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations across the Village, creating a positive, safe and people focused culture, delivering a professional level of communication and performance and creating the best village and lifestyle solutions for our residents and their families.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing village administration and financials including reporting, budgeting, P&L and resident records.
- Asset management and delivery of resident services within budget framework.
- Managing resident's maintenance requests and village repairs.
- Meet reporting requirements in an accurate, timely and efficient manner.
- Developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders including; residents and families, employees and contractors.
- Knowledge and experience of and ensuring compliance with SA retirement village legislation.
- Actively participate in the sales and re-sales process and lead generation to ensure maximum occupancy.
- Professional and collaborative interaction with residents, resident's committees and the local communities.
- Networking with local community to build a pipeline of future residents and maximise occupancy.
- Assisting residents with social event facilitation within the village.
To be considered for this role you will have:
- A strong background in operations management in the Property/Asset, Hospitality or Business sectors.
- Exceptional people and communication skills.
- Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
- An ability to create connections with local community groups to attract new residents - specifically 2 years proven ability to create and drive leads and an ability to facilitate an excellent sales experience.
