WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The APAC business is seeking a senior business leader with extensive experience in the B2B SaaS enterprise technology landscape to lead the Tealium sales teams in Asia and ANZ. As RVP, Sales APAC, you will be responsible for achieving new revenue performance goals and supporting the Customer Success team in achieving their revenue retention goals. You will collaborate with the APJ Leadership team to develop and implement a clear APAC GTM strategy and build a high-performance, inclusive, and diverse team culture.
YOUR DAY TO DAY
- Develop and implement Tealium’s Sales strategy in APAC, ensuring alignment with APJ and global operating best practices.
- Report to the VP and GM of APJ and work closely with functional APJ leaders in marketing, customer success, partnerships, and technical solutions.
- Work closely with APAC revenue teams to position Tealium’s value and competitive differentiators to win new customers.
- Act as the local executive sponsor in all new sales cycles, defining sales strategy, writing proposals, and building relationships with senior executives.
- Build senior-level relationships with technology and service partners to ensure alignment with Tealium’s APJ and global partnership strategy.
- Create meaningful senior executive relationships with APAC customers, guiding overall relationship direction.
- Represent Tealium at industry events, educating companies on digital transformation and customer experience.
- Maintain a strong positive cultural leadership style to engage Team APAC.
This role requires 50% in-person face time with prospects, customers, and team members.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 10+ years of experience in data technology sales within the enterprise segment, particularly in SaaS in Asia and ANZ.
- Comprehensive Enterprise Sales and Account Management experience, including relationships at senior executive and C-suite levels.
- Extensive domain experience in Business to Consumer industries such as Retail, Financial Services, Travel, and Media.
- Experience with Customer Data Platforms or similar first-party data solutions.
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to develop and implement an APAC business strategy.
- Track record of revenue achievement and exceeding quota objectives.
