Site Supervisor & Project Manager – Pool Construction

$110,000 – $140,000 (based on experience) + Company Vehicle + Phone + Computer

Position Overview

The Site Supervisor & Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the construction of multiple pool projects, ensuring quality, efficiency, and smooth coordination of trades and subcontractors. This role requires a highly organized professional who can manage projects end-to-end, from initial site preparation to final completion, while maintaining excellent communication with clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Site Management
  • Oversee the complete lifecycle of pool construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate and manage trades, laborers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Supervise excavation, steel, tiling, plumbing, and finishing processes with strong attention to quality control.
  • Monitor site safety, compliance, and adherence to industry regulations.
  • Ensure timely problem-solving to prevent project delays.
Client & Stakeholder Communication
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the construction phase, providing clear updates and managing expectations.
  • Maintain professional communication with clients, trades, suppliers, and internal team members.
  • Represent the company with a high level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Accurately estimate material requirements, including steel and tiling.
  • Process and manage orders to ensure materials are delivered on time and in the correct quantities.
  • Work closely with suppliers and ensure all required materials meet project specifications.
Scheduling & Documentation
  • Use ServiceM8, Google Calendar, Pages, and Google Drive to track and schedule projects efficiently.
  • Maintain detailed records, including site notes, progress reports, and safety documentation.
  • Manage invoicing and financial tracking using Xero.
  • Lead and support a team of trades, ensuring accountability and high performance.
  • Foster strong relationships with reputable subcontractors and industry professionals.
  • Be willing to assist with hands-on tasks as required to keep projects on schedule.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Site Supervisor, Project Manager, or similar role in construction (pool building experience highly regarded).
  • Strong ability to coordinate multiple trades and manage multiple projects at a time.
  • Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and best practices.
  • Experience estimating material quantities and managing orders efficiently.
  • Highly proficient in ServiceM8, Xero, Google Drive, and other project management tools.
  • Exceptional communication and client management skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and take full responsibility for project outcomes.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transport.

Preferred

  • Builder’s license or trade qualification (preferred but not essential if experienced in a similar role).
  • Established network of industry contacts.
  • Experience working on premium residential projects.
