About Our Client:
Our client is a dynamic and growing logistics company specialising in freight forwarding across air freight, handling Full Container Load (FCL), Less than Container Load (LCL), and Freight All Kinds (FAK). They pride themselves on providing top-tier service and reliable solutions for clients worldwide.

Role Overview:
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Coordinator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in freight forwarding, with a strong understanding of air freight operations, as well as FCL, LCL, and FAK shipments. What You'll Be Doing:

  • Taking charge of managing air freight shipments, ensuring they arrive on time and on budget.
  • Overseeing the booking process for FCL, LCL, and FAK shipments.
  • Communicating with clients, carriers, and customs to iron out any kinks and keep things moving smoothly.
  • Handling paperwork, from bills of lading to customs forms.
  • Keeping everything compliant with regulations and industry standards.
  • Being the go-to person for customer queries – offering solutions and top-tier service across all channels (phone, email, and in person).
  • Tracking shipments and solving problems before they become issues, ensuring timely deliveries.
  • Working with suppliers, shipping lines, and airlines to secure the best rates and most efficient transport solutions.
  • Building strong, long-lasting relationships with clients and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Collaborating with your team to streamline operations.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in freight forwarding, with a solid understanding of air and sea freight operations.
  • Knowledge of FCL, LCL, and FAK shipments.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to operations.
  • Experience with Cargowise or Expedient software (desirable).
  • Must be an Australian resident or have full working rights.
