About the Role:
Are you ready to inspire and lead a diverse team while making a meaningful difference? Orana is seeking aSupervisor, External Servicesto oversee essential services like gardening, landscaping and grounds maintenance. Reporting to the operations Manager, you'll play a vital role in supporting and empowering employees with disabilities while ensuring the delivery of high-quality external services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervision & Team Leadership:Provide day-to-day guidance, mentorship, and supervision to Orana Supported Employees, fostering a supportive and productive work environment.
  • Promote Excellence: Uphold health, safety, and welfare standards while fostering team harmony.
  • Safety & Compliance:Ensure adherence to safety protocols, and provide technical safety advice.
  • Process Improvement:Collaborate with management to enhance processes, ensure high-quality standards, and maintain excellent customer service in production settings.

About You:
Our ideal candidate is proactive, safety-conscious, and enjoys working in a customer-focused environment. You'll bring excellent organisational skills, flexibility, and resilience. Experience in the disability sector is desirable. You must be able to manage the physical demands of the role and work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required:

  • Supervisory experience or demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and client service skills.
  • Desirable: Experience in the disability sector.
  • Mandatory: First Aid and CPR certificate, NDIS Worker Check, National Police Certificate, current Driver's Licence.
  • Flexibility to travel regionally as needed.
