Kapsch TrafficCom develops smart solutions to make mobility safer, more sustainable and efficient for everybody.

We design, build and operate traffic management systems including connected vehicles technology and mobility demand management as well as tolling services for cities, roads, tunnels and bridges around the world.

We develop data and video analytics platforms, building on state-of-the-art technologies including AI, machine learning, big data and cloud services to enable the digitalization of mobility.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Act as a competent and reliable contact for all insurance matters within the Group, supporting all units in Austria and abroad.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Management on insurancerelated matters, ensuring alignment with company strategies.
  • Procure insurance and assess risks for new projects, recommending risk mitigation strategies in accordance with best practice.
  • Lead negotiations with insurance advisors, companies, and brokers, including renegotiation of existing policies.
  • Create and modify procedures and documents related to insurance policies, preparing material for global policy tenders.
  • Ensure risk coverage during transitions between insurance policies, monitoring and acting to mitigate potential disruptions.
  • Develop, create, and modify procedures and documentation related to insurance policies.
  • Monitor and manage multinational insurance programs, including liability, construction, marine, property, cyber, and PI insurance.

Your Profile:

  • Completed degree in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance Administration, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in the insurance business, with ability to manage stakeholders and employees in an international context.
  • Familiarity with multinational insurance programs and expertise in various insurance lines such as liability, construction, property, cyber, and PI insurance.
  • Technology affinity, particularly related to large projects in toll collection, traffic management, and smart urban mobility.
  • Knowledge in the areas of internal control and operational risk management is considered an asset.
  • Professional appearance with strong communication skills in both German and English.
  • Skilled in using Excel and PowerPoint, with high problemsolving competence.
