We are a company specialized in vaccines, focusing on developing and manufacturing prophylactic vaccines for infectious diseases to meet unmet medical needs. Our pipeline includes the first vaccine for the chikungunya virus, a Lyme disease vaccine partnered with Pfizer, and vaccine candidates for Zika virus and other global health threats.

We are on the lookout for an ESG Specialist to join our newly established ESG function. This role is crucial for promoting sustainable and responsible business practices within the company, emphasizing environmental impact, social responsibility, and governance practices.

  • Support the development of ESG reporting processes and Sustainability Report.
  • Regularly update the existing double-materiality assessment.
  • Assist the ESG Director during external verification of the Sustainability Report.
  • Help identify and analyze ESG risks and opportunities.
  • Contribute to developing the ESG Strategy and collaborate with other departments.
  • Monitor and assess ESG-related programs and policies.
  • Work with other departments to ensure ESG integration across the organization.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on the organization's ESG performance.
  • Stay informed about ESG trends, regulations, and apply them within the organization.
  • Assist in updating ESG profiles on ratings and address inquiries periodically.
  • Contribute to defining and implementing cross-functional corporate processes.
  • Engage with internal and external partners to keep up with industry best practices and regulatory changes.

Requirements

  • University Degree in fields like environmental science, sustainability studies, finance, economics, business administration, or social sciences.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in sustainability projects, organizational sustainability departments, or sustainability consulting firms.
  • Deep knowledge of ESG frameworks, standards, and reporting methodologies; familiarity with sustainable investment principles and ESG rating agencies.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate ESG matters effectively across different forums and organizational levels, with attention to detail; robust analytical skills and IT proficiency.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, capable of working within a virtual/international team.

For this position, the minimum salary is disclosed as € ,- gross per year based on full-time employment, however, our salaries are competitive and based on your qualifications and experience.
