We are excited to announce an opportunity to join our team as an ESG Specialist in our newly established ESG-function. As the ESG Specialist, you will play a key role in promoting sustainable and ethical business practices within our organization, with a focus on assessing and improving our performance across environmental impact, social responsibility, and governance.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of ESG reporting processes and the Sustainability Report
  • Update and assist in the verification of existing double-materiality assessments
  • Identify and analyze ESG risks and opportunities
  • Participate in shaping the ESG strategy and collaborate with other departments
  • Monitor ESG-related programs and policies
  • Ensure ESG integration across all functions of the organization
  • Prepare reports and presentations on ESG performance
  • Stay informed about ESG trends and regulations to implement best practices
  • Assist in updating ESG profiles and addressing inquiries
  • Support in developing corporate processes that enhance cross-functional collaboration
  • Engage with internal and external partners to stay updated on industry standards and regulations

Requirements

  • University Degree in fields like environmental science, sustainability studies, finance, economics, business administration, or social sciences
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in sustainability projects, organizational sustainability, or Sustainability consulting
  • Deep understanding of ESG frameworks, standards, and reporting methods
  • Proficient in presenting ESG topics effectively to various audiences
  • Strong analytical and IT skills with expertise in MS Office tools
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities for effective teamwork
  • Strategic thinking and adaptability to handle evolving priorities

For transparency, the minimum salary for this role is € 35.000 per year gross, however, our compensation packages are competitive and based on expertise and qualifications.
