An affinity to work in the international realm together with our offices in Brussels, London, Washington, and several locations in Germany is highly encouraged.

Your Tasks


In our practice group, we advise national and international companies from a wide variety of sectors in the area of European as well as Austrian antitrust, competition and trade law.

We are active both in an advisory and forensic capacity and work very closely with our colleagues from other offices and areas of law.

We advise transactions, proceedings of administrative bodies as well as "compliance counselling" and frequently collaborate with colleagues from other areas of law to offer the best possible advice to our clients.

Within the scope of your future work, you will be in charge of the following main areas:

  • Merger control proceedings of the Austrian competition authorities as well as the European Commission in (some of) the most high-profile national and international M&A transactions.
  • Antitrust proceedings (including the accompaniment of house searches, fine proceedings)
  • Abuse control
  • Compliance with antitrust law
  • State aid law
  • Contract review (in particular distribution law) as well as expert opinions on antitrust issues
Your Profile


You will have completed your legal studies with above-average results, have excellent English and German skills, are an entrepreneurial thinker and dedicated lawyer.

Experience abroad and previous knowledge in this area, such as by way of an LL.M. in European competition law, a dissertation or internships are an asset but not a must.

Note:
according to -9 GlBG: There is no collective agreement or legal minimum salary.

The intended minimum basis for the salary arrangement (with the possibility of additional payment) is an annual salary (gross, all-in, 14 instalments) in the amount of 54,000 EUR.
