About us
Livin Farms is an internationally oriented, fast-growing young company.

We commercialise and develop products and technologies for the next generation of agriculture:
insect farming. Our core product, Hive PRO Insect Factory is a turn-key solution for the food, feed and recycling industries.

Seeded with Seedlings (baby larvae), Hive PROs turn industrial quantities of organic products into insect products that our customers market in the animal feed market.


General Goal of the Role
Responsible for improving efficiency and increasing departmental profits while managing the company's overall operations. oversee several elements in a business, including staff, operating budgets, and launching developments that could attract more customers.

Key Activities of the Role

  • Design strategy and set goals for growth
  • Control budgets and optimize expenses
  • Ensure employees are motivated and productive
  • Oversee daytoday operations
  • Design strategy and set goals for growth
  • Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
  • Set policies and processes
  • Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
  • Oversee recruitment and training of new employees
  • Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
  • Direct the employee assessment process
  • Prepare regular reports for upper management
  • Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
  • Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)

Your Profile

  • BSc/BA in Business or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus
  • Proven experience as a BU or Operations Manager or similar executive role
  • Experience in planning and budgeting
  • Knowledge of business process and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.)
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
  • Problemsolving aptitude
  • Ability to work with multiple discipline projects and teams
  • Project management & Team Management
  • Main competences: Leadership, Strategic Thinking, Adaptability, Organization. excellent communication and teamwork skills. flexibility and resilience.
  • Fluent english. German is a big plus
