As a Business Development Manager with DHL, you will work within a collaborative environment to identify, pursue and convert new business opportunities in our Transport Solutions business. Your duties will include:
- Evaluating market trends to identify potential clients and develop pipelines to meet individual and business revenue goals
- Partnering with the Solutions Design, Commercial, and Operational teams to develop strategies and solutions specific to each customer need
- Aligning internal resources and coordinate cross-functional teams to create a seamless solution for current or future customers – delivering on our promise to be The Provider of Choice
- Track and report on sales performance, revenue growth, and market share

To be successful in this role, you will have:- Extensive experience across Supply Chain and Logistics, in particular, the development of bespoke, dedicated transport solutions
- A strong understanding of the Australian transport landscape
- A proven track record in the development of new logistics products and services
- Successful history of building strategic customer relationships and long cycle sales
- Experience in customer negotiations
- Strong commercial acumen
- The ability to see the 'big picture' and have an innovative & proactive approach
