Exciting opportunities await as the Strategic Communication Branch seeks three AO6 Senior Communication Officers (one permanent, two on temporary contracts) to play a pivotal role in work that shapes our state. You'll develop and implement innovative communications that resonate internally and externally, aligning with the department's strategic vision.
Ideal candidates are agile, collaborative, adept with contemporary communication tech, and skilled in both strategy and content creation.
Your mission in to lead impactful communication strategies, nurture key relationships, create compelling messages, and maximise partnership opportunities, all while contributing to a learning-driven, value-led, positive workplace culture. Are you keen to have a significant impact on the future of Queensland? We are looking for three AO6 Senior Communication Officers (one permanent and two on temporary contracts) to join the Strategic Communication Branch, where you will be at the forefront of dynamic projects that shape the economic, social, and environmental fabric of our state.
Your contributions will be instrumental in developing proactive communication strategies that bolster the department's mission both on internal fronts and in the public eye. You will be leading the way in crafting context-rich communication that not only informs but also engages with distinct audiences across an array of platforms.

• Lead the charge in developing and delivering high-quality communication services, aligning strategies and plans snugly with the department's strategic objectives.
• Sustain and build upon effective relations with stakeholders to guarantee services are client-centred and consistent with whole-department communication strategies.
• Offer your expertise to define communication needs across the department, working in collaboration with a skilled team to deliver top-notch solutions.
• Create impactful messaging and content for diverse media, from traditional print to cutting-edge digital and social platforms.
• Coordinate and manage sponsorship requests, ensuring optimal benefits and alignment with our departmental goals.
• Use your creative flair and up-to-date knowledge of communication technologies to fuel improved services and strategic outputs.
