Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Part-Time Building Manager to oversee the maintenance and operations of our building. As a Building Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and cleanliness of the premises, as well as managing vendor contracts and building maintenance schedules.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections of the building to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
  • Coordinate and oversee maintenance and repair work, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and contractors, including obtaining quotes and negotiating contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with all building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Respond promptly to tenant requests and concerns, addressing issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and expenditures.
  • Monitor building security systems and procedures to ensure the safety of tenants and property.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in building management or facility maintenance preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $47,000.00 per year

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
