Transport Engineering Solutions (TES), a division of Sime Darby Motors Group, is one of Australia's leading suppliers of OEM truck and trailer solutions. TES is unique in the market delivering a complete range of products from world class brands in the core transport categories: Hydraulics, Braking, Transport Equipment and Materials Handling.

We are looking to appoint a State Sales Manager to manageall day-to-day sales, operations, and logistics for the Victorian team.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Lead and motivate the Victorian team to ensure the achievement of key business targets.
  • Plan, promote and actively sell all TES products to wholesale and retail customers within the South Australia trading area.
  • Provide expert product advice to existing and potential TES customers both internal and external.
  • Deliver agreed gross profit, market share and sales objectives.

Knowledge and experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar position.
  • Commercial vehicle hydraulic experience is highly desirable.
  • Commercial vehicle brakes experience is preferable.
  • Proven facilitation, networking and relationship building skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and people/team development experience
  • Be able to show initiative, solve problems and make decisions.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
  • Competent with Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word and Excel.
