Comfort Keepers - South are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic In-Home Care Manager to oversee and support our team of Client Coordinators and nurses in the provision of services to Government funded packages including HCP / CHSP / NDIS.

About You
You must possess:
- At least 3 years experience in a leadership role within an Aged Care setting.
- A motivation to build a highly functioning and collaborative team.
- Sound knowledge of Aged Care and NDIS legislation, Quality Standards, Quality of Care Principles, funding and service requirements.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage competing demands.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to be proactive when problem solving and decision making.
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the General Manager, the successful candidate needs to demonstrate an ability to lead with compassion and foster inclusive communication amongst the team and as part of the wider leadership group. The role will be both office based as well as out in the field supporting the team.
The candidate needs to be strong in identifying opportunities of improvement across compliance, policies and procedures and possess effective time management skills as well as the ability to bring a solution to the problem or opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a team of Client Coordinators and nurses.
- Providing mentoring and training in case management with a focus on person-centred care and re-enablement
- Monitoring case loads
- Providing support with complex issues
- Managing the reporting of SIRS and Reportable Incidents.
- Oversight of all incidents, complaints and feedback, ensuring timely response, identifying trends and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Overseeing reporting of clinical indicators to the Board, identifying trends and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Overseeing the management of HCP unspent funds.
