- Manage end-to-end complex case matters including discipline, CCC/PID grievances and workplace investigations, providing quality advice and support to delegates, managers, employees, and stakeholders.
- Prepare accurate, relevant and succinct advice, assessments, submissions, briefs and correspondence.
- Communicate with influence using plain English principles, tailoring fit for purpose communication to suit the circumstance and the reader.
- Savvy at stakeholder engagement, manage expectations and processes in a fluid and sometimes emotionally charged environment.
- Assessment of and providing advice on CCC and PIDs matters and privacy issues.
- Represent the department at the Queensland Industrial Relations Commission and other such tribunals or authorities, and at interagency meetings and forums.
- Develop and maintain effective networks with internal and external stakeholders including government agencies, industry and business associations to deliver department outcomes.
- Maintain well-developed knowledge of contemporary integrity and human resource management and industrial relations legislation and practices, ensuring current knowledge and skills across the employee relations discipline.
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures, for enterprise-wide application.
- Ensure the maintenance of records and case and file management systems in accordance with the Public Records Act 2002 and associated standards and policies.
- Work collaboratively with other People & Performance teams to provide coaching and pro-active engagement with clients to build knowledge, skills, capabilities.
