Location: Ascot Waters, WA

Start Date: ASAP

Facility: 164 beds

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday | Full-time hours

Accommodation: Temporary accommodation can be arranged if relocating

Salary: Up to $130k per annum

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Nurse Manager to join our esteemed aged care facility. In this role, you will implement procedures to meet each resident's clinical and care needs, while also maintaining clear communication with their families. Reporting directly to the Home Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of clinical care and acting as a clinical lead for all nursing care matters. You may also be required to act as the Duty Manager in the absence of the Home Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
  • Support residents and their families by efficiently addressing queries, comments, suggestions, or concerns.
  • Ensure accurate documentation with appropriate strategies implemented for residents' care.
  • Deliver on all clinical governance reporting, requirements, and KPIs.
  • Manage, support, mentor, and monitor the clinical care team to provide the highest quality care.
  • Maintain and adhere to quality systems and processes to ensure compliance with all standards mandated by the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission (ACSQC).

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Strong understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and quality management systems.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of AN-ACC (Aged Care Funding Instrument).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical management role is preferred
