WOW Recruitment are currently looking for an ambitious, results driven Business Development Manager to join a a top solar retailer in Australia. Our client is experiencing unprecedented growth, and they are expanding their commercial division to capitalize on the emerging opportunities in the market.

$80-110k (Depending on experience within Solar) + Super + Car Allowance + Uncapped Commission

Location: Gregory Hills

Working Model: Hybrid

You will be responsible for:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive B2B business development plan to identify, target and secure new commercial solar projects

• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the commercial sector

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis of the commercial solar market to identify trends, opportunities, and potential customers

• Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals

• Continuously develop and maintain knowledge of the commercial solar industry and regulatory environment

• Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline development, and revenue forecasts

• Work closely with the head of sales to set sales targets, develop sales strategies and ensure alignment with overall company objectives

Experience you'll need:

• Proven track record of at least 2 years in B2B business development, preferably in the solar industry

• Demonstrated ability to generate your own leads and close deals

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service orientation

• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and a drive to succeed

• Understanding of commercial solar systems and the regulatory environment is a plus
