The Delivery Management section is the Project Management Office (PMO) within Information Division. Our team is responsible for end-to-end ICT project delivery with full oversight of the divisions program of work, tracking progress, managing expenses and ensuring alignment with the ICT strategy. Our project portfolio includes a range of ICT projects which includes networks, infrastructure, applications and more.
Information Division is looking for a Project Manager with demonstrated experience managing multiple network and infrastructure ICT Projects with critical delivery dates. The ICT Infrastructure Project Manager will provide leadership and co-ordination across a number of district Information and Communication Technology projects to ensure that technical infrastructure and systems deliverables are completed within approved budget, schedule and quality parameters.
Information Division currently follows an Agile delivery approach for delivering ICT projects in most cases, or a hybrid methodology where more appropriate. We work in partnership with Subject Matter Experts in the department and industry.
Our Project Managers are responsible for all aspects of project management including project governance, budget, scope management, resource management, sourcing, contract management, stakeholder relationship management, performance management, risk mitigation and reporting. This position will play a key role in leading the technical teams to deliver exceptionable products that are fit for purpose and meet customer and business expectations.
In addition to leading specific projects, the Project Manager will contribute to the Delivery Management Centre of Excellence (COE) where they will collaborate with other Project and Delivery Managers in the team to identify best practices in Project Management. They will also work to standardise project management practices, processes and artefacts used by the team to enhance project delivery efficiency and consistency across the division.

Please note: Salaries in the department are provided through its Enterprise Agreement. Additional remuneration may also be provided through Individual Flexibility Arrangements (IFA). These IFAs can be negotiated prior to commencement.
